LOGO & COLORS
The logo was designed for the largest grain terminal in Ukraine, located in the port of Yuzhny. The logo features the colors of the Ukrainian flag, with blue representing the sea and yellow representing the fields of grain.
I also incorporated wings into the design to symbolize the terminal’s fast movement over the water. The overall design effectively communicates the terminal’s location, efficient operations, and important role in Ukraine’s economy.

THE MISSION
Neptune is one of the largest and deepest grain terminals in Ukraine and the Black Sea region. We are working to provide Ukrainian farmers with access to global markets and the ability to increase their own production, opening up Ukraine and its surplus of grains to new buyers from around the world. It is one of the largest investment projects in the country’s agro-industrial sector, implemented by the Ukrainian stevedoring company MV Cargo and Cargill, a leading global supplier of food, agriculture, financial, and industrial goods, and services, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Finance Corporation. The total investment amount is over $150 million.
Neptune was built “from scratch” according to the highest quality and safety standards of Cargill. With state-of-the-art equipment from the best global brands, it is considered the most modern grain terminal in the country and the Black Sea region. Over 200 new jobs have been created directly at the terminal, and another 1,000 jobs will be created through partner organizations. Thanks to Neptune’s work, the Ukrainian economy will receive significant additional revenues in the form of taxes and fees. The terminal began operating in test mode in June 2018, with the official opening taking place in September 2019. The cargo turnover for the 2019/2020 grain marketing year was over 2.5 million tons.

Advantages
Modern technology
Neptune has been built using technology and engineering solutions that are unique for facilities of this class. The flat-type grain storage was designed without any internal columns and is one of the largest facilities in Ukraine using such technology. Thanks to this engineering solution, there are no ‘blind’ or ‘dead’ areas associated with the columns, so machinery avoids the need to perform additional manoeuvres or operations. The flat-type grain storage is divided into 5 parts, with each being able to store a separate type of grain without the risk of mixing.
Deep water access
Neptune is the deepest draft grain elevator in Ukraine and the Black Sea Region. The depth of the access channel and the operating water area is up to 16 meters and the berth length is 385 meters. This allows the elevator to load high tonnage vessels, including Panamax, Post-panamax, Capesize to their maximum carrying capacity without the need for additional mooring loading.
Innovation
The elevator is equipped with modern equipment supplied by the best global manufacturers of special-purpose machinery, including GSI, AGI, Buhler, Bonfanti, Intersystems and others. Conveyor belts operate at the highest performance index for the Ukrainian grain elevators, moving up to 2,000 tons per hour. The elevator has a modern grain laboratory with equipment provided by leading manufacturers, including Foss, Perten, Pfeiffer and Romer Labs. The truck unloading station offers automatic grain sampling devices.
Railway infrastructure
Powerful unloading stations used for railway cars and vehicles have been specially built at the elevator. The unloading station capacity is up to 800 trucks a day, and truck scheduling is automated.
The railway cars unloading station has a daily capacity of unloading 256 railway cars loaded with grain. Its proximity to the TIS modern maritime transportation hub and its own railway infrastructure allows the elevator to handle up to 5 pairs of trains per day.
